Share your tracking link and earn commission on the first 12 paid months of every customer you bring in. You start at 10% and climb to 30% as your referred customers add up. Applications are reviewed by hand, so you know who else is in the programme.
The more you bring, the more you earn
Everyone starts at 10%. Your rank is set by how many of your referred customers are actively paying right now, and it goes up to 30%.

You move up the moment you cross a threshold, and only move down after two months below it. A new rank applies to customers you refer from then on; customers you already referred keep the rate they were referred under, so a rank change can never cut what you have already earned.

Who this is for
The programme works when you already have the trust of people who run a business. A website, a following or an audience online is not required, and it does not work as a link-drop.

What counts, and what does not
Commission is calculated on what the customer actually pays, minus VAT, discounts, credits, refunds and chargebacks. Stripe's transaction fee is not deducted from your side.

Questions
How much do I earn?
Between 10% and 30% of what each customer you refer actually pays, for their first 12 paid months. Which rate you are on depends on your rank. That is calculated on the payment minus VAT, discounts, credits and refunds. Stripe's transaction fee is not deducted from your commission.
How do the ranks work?
Your rank is set by how many of the customers you referred are actively paying right now. Everyone starts at 10%. Bring three and you move up, and it keeps going to 30%. You move up the moment you cross a threshold. You only move down after two months below it, so one customer cancelling never costs you a rank.
If I move up a rank, do my older customers pay me more too?
No. Every customer keeps the rate that was in force when you referred them, for their whole 12 commissionable months. A new rank applies to everyone you refer from that point on. Which also means a lower rank can never cut what you are already earning.
Do I get a discount on ovellan myself?
From Silver, so once ten of your referred customers are actively paying, you get 10% off your own subscription. That rises to 20% at Gold and 30% at Platinum. It starts there rather than at signup, so it stays a partner benefit and does not turn into a discount code anyone can claim by filling in a form.
When do I get paid?
Every commission is pending for 30 days first, so a refund inside that window costs you nothing you had already been paid. After that it is approved, and approved balances above €50 are paid on the 15th of the following month. A smaller balance rolls over automatically.
Do I need a website or a following?
No. Plenty of our best partners publish nothing at all: bookkeepers, IT resellers, consultants and people who run a local business network. They recommend us face to face and hand out their referral code, which works without any cookies. The application form does not ask for a website.
How is a referral tracked?
Your link sets an attribution record that lasts 60 days. If that person creates a workspace inside the window, it is permanently linked to you. Someone can also type your referral code at sign-up, which works even without cookies and across devices.
What if the visitor refuses cookies?
Then we set nothing. Attribution is a tracking cookie, so it only happens with consent. That is why your referral code matters: someone who types it at sign-up is attributed to you regardless of their cookie choice.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No. Self-referrals are not commissionable and are automatically detected. Referring a client you work for is fine, as long as the relationship is disclosed.
Do I have to disclose that I earn a commission?
Yes, always, and next to the recommendation itself, not buried in a profile or at the bottom of a long page. It is a legal requirement in both the EU and the US, and it is a condition of staying in the programme.
Can I run ads on ovellan's brand name?
Not without written permission. Bidding on ovellan brand terms, or linking straight from a paid ad to ovellan.com, is not allowed by default.
Why is approval manual?
Because an affiliate speaks on our behalf. We read what you publish before you get a link, which keeps the programme clean for the partners who do the work properly.
