Install ovellan on Mac
Works on Apple Silicon and Intel. It’s unsigned, so the first launch takes one extra click, here’s exactly how.
Download
Pick Apple Silicon (M1 and later) or Intel above. Your browser saves a .zip and unzips it to ovellan.app.
Move to Applications
Drag ovellan.app into your Applications folder, tidy, and it stays put.
Right-click → Open
The first launch only: right-click (or Control-click) ovellan and choose Open. A normal double-click is blocked once because the app isn’t notarised yet.
Confirm
macOS asks because it can’t verify the developer. Click Open, you downloaded it from ovellan.com. You only do this once.
Sign in
ovellan opens in its own window. Sign in with your email or Google, the same account as the website.
Updating later
Mac builds don’t auto-update yet, so grab the newest version from this page when there’s an update.
